Border Security

We are currently facing the most severe border crisis in American history. Since Biden assumed office, over 8 million illegal aliens have crossed the southern border and more than 6.2 million illegals have been caught and released into the interior of the United States. – And that's just accounting for those we're aware of, excluding the "got-a-ways."

The Biden Regime's negligence has handed operational control to the cartel at our borders, resulting in an unprecedented surge in the trafficking of women and children. Worse yet, a record-breaking influx of deadly fentanyl is coursing through our borders, claiming American lives daily. The sheer volume of fentanyl could kill every American 28 times over and has already killed hundreds of thousands of Americans.

I have an A+ Lifetime Rating from NumbersUSA for my legislation, votes and efforts to secure the border and end illegal immigration. Here's a list of some of the things I’ve done to secure our southern border:

• I was proud to cosponsor and vote in favor of the strongest border security bill ever passed by Congress in the form of H.R. 2.
• I made history by becoming the first Republican in 24 years to successfully initiate Impeachment proceedings on the House floor against Joe Biden for his handling of the border crisis.
• I put America first by introducing a bill and leading a successful pressure campaign that resulted in the Biden administration dropping its plan to give illegal immigrants separated at the border $450,000 checks.
• I passed an appropriations amendment to prohibit funds from going to sanctuary cities.
• I passed an amendment that prevented the Department of Veterans Affairs from giving illegal aliens VA benefits.
• I introduced the Secure the Southern Border Act to end catch and release, finish building the wall, remove funding for the sanctuary cities, and restore the Remain in Mexico policy.
• I introduced the No Amnesty Act to terminate Biden’s open-border agenda.
• I fought to keep Title 42 in place.
• I introduced a bill to protect our children and communities and classify fentanyl as a weapon of mass destruction. The legislation is consistent with President Trump’s Department of Homeland Security’s proposal to use counter-WMD authorities to combat the fentanyl crisis.
• I  passed an amendment to increase accountability and transparency for criminal aliens’ deportations.
• I passed an amendment to redirect resources to border patrol and prevent fentanyl from entering America.
• I passed an amendment to redirect $3 million from other wasteful spending in the bill to increase funding for DoD’s role in countering the flow of illicit fentanyl and synthetic opioids.
• I introduced legislation to prevent illegals from getting taxpayer-funded lawyers.
• I’ll be introducing the Build the Wall and Deport Them All Act to stop the invasion taking place at our southern border. This legislation will end catch and release, end sanctuary cities, deport all illegals unlawfully in America, restore the Remain in Mexico policy, designate the cartels as foreign terrorists, end birthright citizenship, and build the wall once and for all.
