This past weekend, I reflected on twenty years since the events of 9/11/01. While 9/11 was a day of unspeakable tragedy, we also saw unparalleled heroism, with firefighters and police officers running towards danger. On 9/11, we were attacked, and instead of letting the fear polarize our country, we came together with record-breaking numbers of Americans volunteering to give blood, and with thousands of Americans stepping forward to serve our country in our Armed Forces.

Rep. Lauren Boebert filed a whopping 106 amendments —more than any other Member of Congress—to put America first, back the blue, support our veterans, help farmers, secure the border, protect unborn children, create jobs, defend the Second Amendment, expand access to healthcare while reducing federal spending, reduce the debt, and so much more.

I promised that I’d defend your Second Amendment rights all the way up to the Supreme Court if necessary, and I’m keeping my promise. I was proud to join Rep. Claudia Tenney and 174 additional members of Congress in sending an amicus curiae brief to the Supreme Court in the case of New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen, urging the Court to uphold Americans’ Second Amendment rights to keep and bear arms.

Joe Biden proved that he doesn’t care at all about rural communities when he nominated proven ecoterrorist, Tracy Stone-Manning, to lead the Bureau of Land Management. She is a radicalized extremist who believes that babies are a cancer to the earth, that ranchers are destroying the West, that land management decisions are best made by bureaucrats in D.C., and that using violent tactics like tree spiking is justified in the name of environmentalism. Her criminal involvement in ecoterrorist activities is so extreme that even Obama’s Bureau of Land Management director called on Biden to withdraw her nomination. America does not negotiate with terrorists who’ve been investigated by the FBI, and it certainly shouldn’t appoint one to lead a federal agency.

I couldn’t let President Biden get away with not mentioning the crisis he created at the Southern Border during his address to Congress, so I forced the media to cover it by wearing the same kind of Mylar blanket that the Biden administration is giving to the record-setting 18,000 unaccompanied minors that came over the border last month. When children are sleeping in tin foil blankets, that’s a crisis.
When I was sworn into Congress, I pledged to support and defend the Constitution of the United States—including the Second Amendment. As the co-chair of the Second Amendment Caucus, I directly fight to keep our freedoms intact. I even went to the Supreme Court to protect the Second Amendment by filing a brief arguing against liberal policies restricting the right to keep and bear arms. I will always guard the sacred text of our Constitution, and I oppose gun grabs, mandatory gun buybacks, the creation of a national firearm registry, the criminalization of common transfers of firearms between family members and neighbors, and any other policies the radical left pursues to attack the Second Amendment.

From the moment we arrived in Congress this January, the Left has been trying to take away members’ constitutional rights. And if Democrats are doing this in Congress, just imagine what they want to do to everyday people.

Washington, D.C. | Today, U.S. Representative Lauren Boebert (CO-03) voted against two leftist gun control bills that Democrats rushed to the House floor to strip law-abiding Americans of their Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.
