Decades of eco-terrorism have effectively shut down our national forests from responsible management. The result? Now there are six billion standing dead trees in the West that create a tinder box waiting to ignite one devastating forest fire after another.
The swamp is dominated by overpaid former Hill and agency staffers sipping wine, lobbying for more money to support their new “foundation,” “think tank,” or pet project. Most of the ideas these organizations pump out are pipe dreams that fail, but 1% become the next sweeping government mandate that gets shoved down the rest of the country’s throat.
From the moment we arrived in Congress this January, the Left has been trying to take away members’ constitutional rights. And if Democrats are doing this in Congress, just imagine what they want to do to everyday people.
If I were a Democrat, I'd centralize power in Washington by nationalizing our elections. It wouldn't be enough to hold all three branches temporarily. I'd need to make it permanent.
So I'd change the rules.
