The swamp is dominated by overpaid former Hill and agency staffers sipping wine, lobbying for more money to support their new “foundation,” “think tank,” or pet project. Most of the ideas these organizations pump out are pipe dreams that fail, but 1% become the next sweeping government mandate that gets shoved down the rest of the country’s throat.

The  30 x 30 program is a federal land grab

Today, Representative Lauren Boebert (CO-03) introduced the 30 x 30 Termination Act  to block the radical 30 x 30 program, a massive land grab being pursued by the Biden administration at the behest of extremist environmentalists, that seeks to lock up at least 30% of all lands and waters in the U.S.

During this week’s Natural Resources Committee markup, I introduced two amendments that passed unanimously with broad bipartisan support. The amendments promote responsible all-of-the-above energy development and encourage scientific active forest management to strategically protect critical infrastructure like power lines from catastrophic wildfires. One of my amendments directs the government to study the environmental impact of green energy disposal to protect our groundwater from toxic chemicals found in solar panels and batteries.
