REP. BOEBERT CRISSCROSSING COLORADO’S 4TH DISTRICT IN AUGUST FOCUSED ON AGRICULTURE, ECONOMY, INFRASTRUCTURE, EDUCATION, RURAL HEALTHCARE, AND SECURITY

August 17, 2026

Highlands Ranch, CO — August is off to a fast start in the district as Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (CO-04) has traveled throughout Colorado’s 4th Congressional District to engage directly with local leaders, businesses, and communities.

Her visits have centered on strengthening agriculture, supporting economic growth, improving critical infrastructure, advancing education, protecting rural healthcare, and addressing security needs that protect Colorado families and workers.

“Coloradans deserve a representative who shows up, listens, and delivers results,” said Rep. Boebert. “These visits reinforce my commitment to our farmers and ranchers, our growing communities, our law enforcement partners, and the everyday security of our state. From dairy operations to water systems, airport operations, and rural hospitals, I am focused on practical solutions that keep Colorado strong.”

District visit highlights include:

  • 21st Century Equipment, Cheyenne Wells – Stood with local equipment dealers and hardworking Coloradans who keep our farms and ranches running, discussing the vital role of modern agricultural equipment in supporting rural economies and food production.
  • CORE Electric Cooperative – Met with the member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative serving 5,000 square miles across Colorado to discuss growing energy needs and reliable power for rural communities.
  • Morgan Community College – Met with college leaders to learn about their low tuition rates, accessible programs, workforce training, and career pathways that prepare students for high-demand jobs in agriculture, healthcare, trades, and other fields critical to Colorado’s rural economy.
  • Fagerberg Produce – Toured the fifth-generation family owned Colorado onion grower, packer and shipping operation to discuss the industry, trade challenges, food production, workforce availability and retention, and rising labor costs.
  • Denver International Airport – Conducted a behind-the-scenes tour with airport leadership to examine daily operations, economic impact, transportation infrastructure, and security measures that keep Colorado’s busiest airport running safely and efficiently.
  • Louviers Water Treatment Plant, Douglas County – Inspected the facility and reviewed federally secured funding that will replace aging water infrastructure, improve reliable service for local communities, and support long-term economic and agricultural needs.
  • Town of Bennett – Met with town leadership to address infrastructure priorities, including critical bridge projects essential for growth, commerce, and public safety in a rapidly expanding community.
  • Melissa Memorial Hospital, Holyoke – Visited the rural hospital to learn about the critical role it plays in providing emergency care, maternity services, and essential healthcare to families across the eastern plains, and to discuss the ongoing challenges facing rural healthcare providers.

These engagements build on Congresswoman Boebert’s ongoing work to cut red tape for rural Colorado, secure funding for water and infrastructure projects, support rural hospitals, back law enforcement, and protect the economic and security interests of the 4th District. Rep. Boebert will continue to update as her district tour continues throughout August.

Rep. Boebert continues to prioritize direct constituent outreach and remains committed to delivering results on agriculture, jobs, education, rural healthcare, public safety, and national security issues that matter most to Coloradans.
