REP. BOEBERT: COLORADO’S FOURTH DISTRICT 2026 CONGRESSIONAL APP CHALLENGE DEADLINE LESS THAN ONE MONTH AWAY

October 2, 2026

EATON, CO  Rep. Lauren Boebert (CO-04) announced today that less than one month remains before the deadline for the 2026 Congressional App Challenge.

Since 2015, the Congressional App Challenge has encouraged middle and high school students to explore careers in STEM and software development. Rep. Boebert’s office participates in the challenge and selects district winners based on the quality of each entry. The competition is nonpartisan and is an official duty of congressional offices that choose to take part.

“I’m looking forward to seeing what students in the Fourth District can develop this year,” said Rep. Boebert. “This challenge is a great way for young people to build real skills in technology and show what they can create.”

Teachers can incorporate the challenge into lesson plans, and students may also complete entries outside the classroom. The submission deadline for the Congressional App Challenge is October 26, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. EST. Winners will be announced in early December.

Students can register and learn more at: https://www.congressionalappchallenge.us/students/student-registration/
