Congresswoman Lauren Boebert Statement on FSA Director Jerry Sonnenberg

EATON, CO-- Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (CO-04) provided the following statement on the appointment of former Logan County Commissioner Jerry Sonnenberg as the next U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency Director for Colorado:

"Jerry Sonnenberg is a fantastic choice to be the FSA Director for Colorado and I look forward to working with him to bring real support and helpful reforms for our ranchers and farmers across the Eastern Plains. I've gotten to know Jerry over the past year and a half as someone who cares deeply about the health and future of our agriculture industry, a farmer from birth who has passed on his business to his children in Logan County. Jerry is trusted and respected by Coloradans from every background and will always put his community's interests first. I'm grateful to President Donald J. Trump and U.S.D.A.
