Congressional App Challenge

Since 2015, the Congressional App Challenge has encouraged middle and high school students to learn about careers in STEM fields and software development. Congresswoman Lauren Boebert's office participates in the Congressional App Challenge and selects winners based on the entry's quality.

Sidd Aradhya is the winner of Colorado’s 4th Congressional District in the 2024 Congressional App Challenge! The title of his application is CatchChat. It is a tool designed to help law enforcement officers catch online predators. Here is a link to see his innovative work:

Join the 2025 App Challenge!

This challenge is easily incorporated by teachers into their lesson plans. It can also be done outside of the classroom. The submission deadline for the Congressional App Challenge is October 30th, 2025. Winners will be announced in early December.
